Welcome to Mark Flower Photography, thank you for visiting. I am a Perth based photographer specialising in Wedding Photography as well as family portraits, child portraits, pregnancy photography, baby photography, glamour photography and model portfolios.  I also cater for commercial and property photography.

If you wish to purchase any images other than wedding, portrait or modelling images in the client galleries, please email me directly. Likewise, if you wish to obtain a quote for a service not specifically listed in the price list for commercial or other event work please email me.

Biography

I was born in London and moved to Western Australia at 16 with my parents and 3 of my 5 siblings. After completing my last two years of school in Perth I studied photography as part of a Design & Technology Teaching Degree at University. I had always been interested in photography leading up to this but it was my exposure to Photography during this course that really started me on the road and ignited my passion for it.  I shot my first wedding whilst at university and have continued to shoot weddings, people and places ever since.  I love black & white photography, if you hadn’t already guessed!

After teaching Photography, Technical Drawing, Woodwork, Metalwork and IT for 4 years in the Perth metropolitan area, my career switched to IT Systems Administration for the next 8 years, before fulfilling a long held desire to join the fire brigade.  Now a Career Firefighter for the Fire & Rescue Service of Western Australia,  I shoot weddings and portraits and other commercial photography in my days off as well as doing some IT consulting for select clients. I shoot an exlusive number of weddings each year in order to focus on quality.

Having a background in Design, a passion for capturing beautiful photgraphs of people and a strong IT skill set I am able to get the most out of my images using the best digital camera equipment and software.

Now married with two beautiful young girls, I enjoy spending my time off shift with my family, photographing people, places and documenting people’s lives.
